About Summit-U
Since the mid-1970s, Saint Paul has been divided into seventeen districts to allow and encourage citizen participation in the process of local government. Each district is represented by a community council to gather input from residents on community concerns and forward advisory opinions for Saint Paul City Council for consideration. Summit-U serves the over 18,000 residents within District 8.
